I'm Rob, 22 years old, studying Music Technology at HKU. I've loved heavy music ever since I was a little kid, starting with bands like Linkin Park and Chelsea Grin. Over the years, my music taste has evolved a lot, and I love experimenting with obscure genres and how they fit within heavy music.

Bands like Loathe, Static Dress, Fromjoy, Darko US, Allt, and Thornhill are some of the ones that really inspire me—they're doing things that feel genuinely fresh and weird in heavy music. That's what I'm chasing: sounds that shouldn't work but absolutely do.

I mainly play drums, guitar, and bass, and I'm constantly working on Mara with my bandmate, trying to figure out what two people can do with heavy music that feels impossible. It's the experimentation and the weird ideas that get me excited, not just making something heavy for the sake of it.

Outside the studio, I get nerdy about photography, I love baking bread and pastries for me and my friends to enjoy, and after a long day, I enjoy some gaming from time to time.

Being easy to work with and keeping a chill, down-to-earth vibe are very important to me. I'm always happy to adapt workflows, communication styles, or session structures to make collaboration feel comfortable and natural.
